Houston, August 15, 2024 – Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) has taken a significant step in solidifying its position as a leader in hybrid cloud solutions by announcing the acquisition of Morpheus Data, a leading provider of software for hybrid cloud management and platform operations. This acquisition is set to enhance HPE’s GreenLake platform, reinforcing its commitment to simplifying IT complexity for enterprises navigating increasingly heterogeneous and complex IT environments.
Morpheus Data brings a robust suite of capabilities to HPE GreenLake, including multi-vendor, multicloud application provisioning, orchestration, automation, and FinOps capabilities for cloud cost optimization. This acquisition complements HPE’s earlier purchase of OpsRamp, an IT operations management leader, further strengthening HPE’s offerings in the hybrid cloud space. With these combined capabilities, HPE GreenLake is poised to become the first platform to offer a comprehensive suite of enterprise-grade services across the entire hybrid cloud stack.

HPE GreenLake, already a prominent player in the hybrid cloud market, will now provide customers with an even more streamlined and efficient management experience.
